Norfolk Southern Opens Applications for Safety First and Thriving Communities Grant Programs
Norfolk Southern (NS) recently announced that it is now accepting applications for its Safety First and Thriving Communities grant programs.
The Safety First grant program supports organizations and initiatives that directly provide safety services or operate programs that promote safe behavior. Grants of up to $15,000 will assist first responders and organizations working to prevent and prepare for emergencies, ensuring community safety.
The Thriving Communities grant program promotes economic opportunity, supports vibrant community life, and provides equal access to basic necessities. Grants of up to $50,000 will support nonprofit organizations working to build a strong foundation for long-term prosperity in the company’s communities.
